Getting Around FAI Airport

The terminal at FAI Airport is relatively compact, making it straightforward to get around. The building is located on the northwest side of the airport and houses a total of eight gates. Six of these gates are designed for larger carriers, while two cater specifically to commuter carriers. This setup facilitates an easy transition between gates for passengers.

When inside the terminal, you can navigate from one gate to another without much hassle. The gates are well-signposted, and the layout is simple to follow. Here are a few tips to help you move smoothly through the terminal:

  • Check the information displays frequently for gate changes or updates on your flight status.
  • If you're unsure about where to go, don't hesitate to ask airport staff for directions—they're there to help.
  • Keep an eye on the time, as walking from one end of the terminal to the other can take longer than expected, especially during busy periods.
