Norfolk International Airport is fully ADA-compliant: Terminal entrances & exits on both Arrival and Departure sides have automatic double doors and accommodate wheelchairs.
Upon request, the airlines will provide wheelchair & Skycap assistance - state your special needs when making airline reservations. Parking Lots and Garages have special ramps for wheelchairs - located at both short-term parking lots flanking the airport terminal. Special parking spaces, clearly marked, are in all parking lots and garages.
Curb access to the Terminals is by ramps.
Elevators are conveniently located throughout the Main Passenger Terminal, Arrivals (baggage claim) Terminal, and parking garages. All elevators are identified with the standard graphics used to designate handicapped facilities, and are equipped with raised markings on the control buttons.
All restrooms feature one wheelchair-accessible stall with a raised toilet seat & handrails.
Water fountains throughout the terminals are wheelchair accessible.
All airport telephones are wheelchair accessible, equipped with raised lettering and volume control.
TTY Telephones are located on level 2 of the Main Terminal Lobby, at the baggage claim level and in Concourses A & B.
