SMF Off-Airport Parking
Airport Parking Configuration

- Hourly Parking: This is the closest lot to Terminal B, designed for short stays and charges $2 per 1/2 hour. The maximum daily charge is $31.

Getting To/From The Lots
Shuttle services are provided for the Daily Lot, and the Economy Lots with intervals ranging from 15 to 30 minutes. For the Parking Garage and the Hourly Lot, pedestrian bridges are available to Terminals A & B. The airport recommends arriving early to allow time to park in an alternate lot if necessary.
Cell Phone Waiting Lots
The airport offers a Free Waiting Area, also known as the Cell Phone Lot, providing a convenient and legal place to wait for arriving passengers. The lot has a three-hour limit and vehicles must be attended at all times. The lot also features fee-based DC fast charging stations for electric vehicles.
Advanced Reservations
All parking at the airport is available on a first-come, first-served basis and reservations are not available. In the event a lot fills and closes, customers must select an alternate lot and pay the posted rate.
Payment Options
Cash is no longer accepted at parking lot cashier booths. Customers wishing to pay with cash can do so at specifically designated pay-on-foot self-service kiosks in the parking garage and outside Door 1 at Terminal B. For credit and debit card payments, Visa, AMEX, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted.
Special Vehicles
Vehicles more than 21 feet long are charged double the posted rates. The parking garage has a vertical clearance of 8 feet 2 inches.
Valet Parking
Currently, the airport does not offer valet parking services.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Parking
Electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations are available in the parking garage, the Daily Lot, and the Free Waiting Area. Charging stations and their designated spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Use of charging stations is free, but standard parking fees apply.
Special Needs Parking
Persons with disabilities with a valid disabled license plate or placard may park in designated spaces in any lot at the posted rate. Shuttle buses are lift-equipped. However, shuttle bus service is not provided in the hourly parking area and garage.
