Terminal A Info & Layout
Terminal A at Sacramento Airport is primarily dedicated to handling domestic flights and is home to major airlines such as Air Canada, American, Delta, and United. The terminal features 13 gates, providing ample space for passenger boarding and deplaning. Originally opened in 1998, Terminal A spans 275,000 square feet and underwent a food court remodel in 2014-15 to enhance the traveler experience with unique-to-Sacramento dining options.
Travelers can access Terminal A via pedestrian walkways, ensuring a seamless transition from parking areas or public transportation options. Although there are no direct automated transport systems connecting Terminal A to other terminals, future expansion plans may include the addition of a second automated people mover.

This forward-thinking design ensures that the terminal can adapt to growing passenger needs.
