Getting Around HOU Airport

The airport features a single terminal with two distinct concourses: one domestic and one international. The domestic concourse, which opened in 2003, offers a variety of retail shops, restaurants, and even an interfaith chapel for travelers seeking a quiet space. The international concourse, which began operations in 2015, serves passengers on international flights and includes biometric entry and exit systems for expedited processing.

To navigate the terminal efficiently, travelers can follow clear signage directing them to their respective concourses. Key points to remember include:

  • The domestic concourse is well-equipped with dining and shopping options, making it convenient for passengers with layovers or waiting times.
  • The international concourse is designed to streamline the process for international travelers, featuring biometric systems for faster entry and exit.
  • Both concourses are interconnected, allowing for easy movement between domestic and international gates if needed.

For those needing assistance, information desks are strategically located throughout the terminal. Additionally, electronic directories and airport staff are available to help guide you to your gate, amenities, or other points of interest within the terminal.
