Getting Around CTA Airport
CTA Airport features multiple terminals, making navigation straightforward if you're familiar with its layout. The main terminal, opened in 2007, has 22 gates and is equipped with six loading bridges, facilitating easier access to aircraft. Terminals B and C, added in 2018, cater to the airport's growth, with Terminal C dedicated to easyJet flights. This clear division by airline at Terminal C can simplify your navigation if flying with easyJet.
Inside the airport, you'll find clear signage directing you to various sections and amenities. Here are a few tips to help you move around efficiently:
- Follow the overhead signs for directions to your departure gate, restrooms, and other facilities.
- Each terminal is designed to handle specific flight types — international or domestic — so check your ticket details to head to the right terminal.
- If you're transferring between terminals, allow extra time as the distance can be significant depending on your specific gates.
