Terminal 1 Info & Layout
Terminal 1, also known as Harvey Milk Terminal 1, is an integral part of San Francisco Airport (SFO), primarily handling domestic flights. It is home to Boarding Area B, which features 26 gates (B2-B27). This terminal is a hub for several major airlines, including Southwest Airlines, JetBlue, American Airlines, and Alaska Airlines. Notably, it is the world's first airport terminal named after an LGBTQ community leader, commemorating gay rights activist Harvey Milk.
Travelers at Terminal 1 can enjoy a range of amenities, including various dining options, retail stores, and lounges such as the Alaska Lounge and the Admirals Club. The terminal is well-equipped to handle both domestic and international arrivals, with six gates capable of international processing.
Access to Terminal 1 is streamlined, with connections to other terminals via airside connectors. Passengers can move seamlessly between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, Terminal 2 to Terminal 3, and Terminal 3 to the International Terminal G gates without leaving the secure area. Additionally, the terminal is easily accessible from the main airport roads and public transportation systems.
