Getting Around HOU Airport
HOU features a single terminal design which simplifies navigation for travelers. The terminal is divided into two main concourses: one primarily for domestic flights and the other for international travel. Each concourse is accessible from the central terminal area, making it easy to move between gates without extensive walking. The domestic concourse includes a range of shops and dining options, providing amenities and services as you move through the area.
Here are a few tips to help you get around inside the airport:
- Look for clear signage directing you to the domestic and international concourses. These signs will guide you to your desired gate or service area efficiently.
- Take advantage of the amenities offered throughout the terminal, especially if you have a layover. The presence of various retail shops and restaurants means you can relax and refresh as you wait for your flight.
- If you're traveling internationally, remember that HOU is equipped with full biometric entry and exit systems. This might streamline your check-in and boarding processes, but always allow extra time for these procedures.
