Terminal 7 Info & Layout
Terminal 7 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) primarily handles domestic flights and serves as a hub for United Airlines. This terminal is equipped with 13 gates, numbered 70A, 70B, 71A, 71B, 72A, 72B, 73, 74, 75A, 75B, 76A, 76B, and 77. It is designed to accommodate large aircraft, with several gates featuring dual jetways.
Travelers passing through Terminal 7 can enjoy a variety of amenities, including a United Club and a United Polaris Lounge, offering a comfortable space for relaxation and refreshments. The terminal underwent significant renovations between 1998 and 1999, which included new gate podiums, expanded gate areas, relocated concessions, and improved lighting. Another renovation in 2017 brought further enhancements to the concessions and overall passenger experience.
Access to Terminal 7 is facilitated by LAX Shuttle route A buses, which connect all terminals on the landside. Additionally, travelers can use pedestrian walkways to move between terminals without exiting the secure area. A ground-level walkway connects Terminal 7 to Terminal 8, allowing seamless transitions for passengers.
A unique feature of Terminal 7 is its customs area on the arrivals floor, which is utilized by international flights operated by United Airlines and Alaska Airlines flights from adjacent Terminal 6.
