FCO Terminal 2 Map & Guide
This page is dedicated to providing information about Terminal 2 at Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport. You will find details on the terminal's past role, its closure, and how it has influenced the development of new facilities within the airport.
Terminal 2 Info & Layout
Terminal 2 at Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport was previously part of the airport's layout but has been permanently closed since December 15, 2017, to facilitate the north-west expansion of Terminal 1. This terminal was once a key part of the airport's operations, handling various flights and serving as a transition point for passengers.
While Terminal 2 itself is no longer operational, its closure has contributed to the development of new facilities, including a three-storey boarding and waiting area and a new Pier A with 13 boarding gates and 10 remote gates, enhancing the overall capacity and efficiency of the airport.
Travelers looking for connections or amenities will now find them in Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Terminal 3, in particular, is the largest terminal and features a newly constructed central airside hall. It also provides access to the SkyBridge automated people mover, which connects different sections of the terminal for departing and arriving passengers.
As Terminal 2 is no longer in use, passengers should refer to the current terminal layout for updated information on flight operations, amenities, and transportation options within Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
