TPA Airport is fully ADA-compliant.
If you plan to arrive at TPA unaccompanied, contact first your airline - best when making flight reservations, or at least 24 hrs prior to scheduled flight., as to your special needs, including wheelchair.
Information Booths are located throughout the Landside Building to help you with airport paging, directions, flight status information and much more.
If you are meeting a disabled person needing assistance or a minor traveling alone, you may go to the airline ticket counter and request a 'gate pass'. Gate passes allow for one adult to meet an incoming passenger, require photo ID, and are issued at the discretion of the airline.
All Restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
Disabled Parking is provided on all levels of both the Long- & Short-terminal Garage, and adjacent to the bus stops in the Economy Parking Lot. Each clearly marked parking space is closest to the terminal or the shuttle bus (which is wheelchair accessible (call tel. 813-870-8791).
TTY/TDD telephones are located throughout the Airport and are clearly marked.
Pet relief areas for working dogs are in the airside (sterile) vicinities - contact your airline for more information & access. Other pet relief areas are in the grassy areas across from the roads next to the baggage claim and the departure levels.
