Terminal 1 Info & Layout
Terminal 1 at Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport serves as a primary hub for domestic flights and is the home base for ITA Airways. This terminal features Gates A1–A83, offering a well-organized and efficient experience for travelers. Following its closure from March 2020 to August 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Terminal 1 underwent a significant redesign, enhancing the main hall layout and increasing available passenger space.
Travelers can enjoy a variety of amenities and services in Terminal 1, including dining options, retail stores, and comfortable waiting areas. The terminal's modern facilities ensure a pleasant experience for both departing and arriving passengers.
Access to Terminal 1 is straightforward, with pedestrian walkways connecting it to other parts of the airport. While there is no automated transport system directly linking Terminal 1 to other terminals, the layout allows for easy navigation on foot.
